Is it time you emptied out and sorted through the bedroom and cupboards to start and get ready for a much needed shop?
Firstly plan so you do not impulse buy, look through the wardrobe and place in a black bin liner all the items that do not fit, or have never fitted. Fold them up and put them in later they can go to a charity shop to be reused by the community.
Plan items that can be wore over and over again, an item for work such as a well made pair of trousers or a skirt. An item to wear on occasions such as a dress for a wedding or party, An item such as the staple little black dress that can be played down with pumps or dressed up for an evening out.
For the staple items buy from a shop that you know in the past has lasted it does not have to be top end designer just a well made high street store that has done you well in the past.
Fun items can be bought after the main most worn most needed items have been bought, these can be impulse if you like but always stop and think, how often will I really wear this, and is it worth the money?
Try every single item on before you buy, only buy what fits' right now in this moment. How many times do people get the smaller size and say I will fit in to it, if you do this you will end up having nothing to wear again. When you are thinner go shopping again but for now buy what fits.
Try to go shopping on a day that is not mostly busy as this will mean hours queuing for the fitting rooms.
Keep the receipt of all the items in case you get home and change your mind.
